Make Celiwe Gamedze has lived in the Kaphunga community all her life. She is a mother of four children. The youngest two have attended Matjana Preschool. Sandile was a student in 2008 and Sebenele is still enjoying her time at preschool and due to graduate in November 2009.

Celiwe has been elected to the school committee three times and has played a central role in organising fundraising events for the school. She coordinated the 2009 Swazi Dance and Cultural Festival and helped with the classroom building projects. She also works as a casual teacher at the preschool from time to time. She is happy to continue participating in the committee and sharing her knowledge with newer members.
