Fortunate Sihlongonyane is the school committee secretary and Matjana's fulltime teacher. She has the fun but very demanding job of teaching the students and catering for their daily needs.

Fortunate graduated from high school in 2007 and joined Matjana Preschool in 2008. Matjana Preschool sponsored Fortunate to complete a one-week teaching course organised by the Swaziland Ministrry of Education called the 'Joy of Mathematics at Preschool' in 2011. She is keen to enrol in a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Matjana Preschool hopes to be able to help her find a sponsor so that she can enrol, either in 2012 or 2013.
