Michelle Brear is an Australian who has lived in Swaziland since 2006. She helped establish Matjana Preschool and worked as an assistant teacher in 2007 and 2008. She feels priveleged to have grown up in a country where education is free and hopes to help create educational opportunities for Swazi children who do not have that privilege.

Michelle is the school committee treasurer and coordinates the school's fundraising. She edits and compiles the school newsletter, liases with the school international sponsors and writes grants to apply for funding from governmental and non-governmental organisation.
